Quattro Canti

The facades of the Quattro Canti represent four different parts of the city:

1. Palace of San Giuliano, located in the south est corner, belongs to the Marquises Paternò Castello
2. Palace Duke of Carcaci in the north-east corner
3. Palace of San Demetrio in the north-west corner belongs to Baron Eusebio Massa
4. Convent of Santa Nicolella in the south-west already existed in medieval times
