Dragon’s Canyon

Dragon’s Canyon is a natural canyon in the area of Corleone, which is situated just a few kilometers from the city of Palermo.

It was created by the action of erosion and infiltration of the Frattina River, tributary of the left Belice River; with its constant flow, it ventured into a section of a calcareous rock with a strong slope. So, small lakes and amazing waterfalls were created, offering a surreal landscape, immersed into a thick vegetation of ferns, willows, poplars, elms, and rock plants.
